The handle with a plate is usually installed on entrance doors on the inside of the house and on passage doors to cover the hole in a rosette or for aesthetics when dealing with old doors.
Despite everything, currently, it is the handle with a rosette that is most commonly placed on entry doors. They are visually more aesthetic handles, which give a modern, renewed and avant-garde touch to your doors and which, above all, follow a mostly elegant line.
If you have to decide between a handle with a rosette and a plate, we recommend that it be the rosette unless you already have a handle installed and want to hide its holes or anything else. You should know that the handle with a rosette, which normally has a diameter of 52mm, can be replaced with another larger rosette of 65mm in order to cover the holes in your door knobs.
